Juniella Jarvis is the founder of 1126 Films and her path to filmmaking is as unconventional as it is inspiring. In 2019, she earned a Master of Science in Neuroscience and began a pre-medical program, aiming to become a neurologist. However, during an internship in Barbados that same year, she discovered a passion for filmmaking.

For the next few years, Juniella balanced dual ambitions, navigating the worlds of science and film and combining both at times. In January 2024, she made the decision to become a full time filmmaker and launched 1126 Films.
